@jj48 160f. And others doing the same thing as McDonalds does not absolve them - it just means that others are willing to go the same way rather than follow health and safety rules.

@dianasosa1301 funny how that is only a problem in the US apparantly. Even McDonalds manages in other countries.

@wickedham other countries have legal systems not based on precedence as well. The US looks to precedence while the legal system in for example in Germany doesn't (or to a very small extent). It's an unholy mix.

@jaybee4118 people might sue for loss of earnings... but you are right insofar that people wouldn't sue but in places like Germany it would be the state suing the company with damages oftrn going to charities.
