  2. The US has a formula shortage because you have too few companies prducing formula. Now that one producer has been found to have not kept up with health and safety, and to have dirty production facilities you are in trouble. There is a solution to the problem - but the GOP doesn't like it.

  3. Nope. One producer Was found to have violated production rules for years. They product is contaminated. You do have very few large companies in the US that pushen out smaller competitiors. So when production was closed down it affected the market. That said... the other producers are already making more. So you can buy formula but not your fabourite brand. And they will not let you stock pile.

  4. They do. That doesn't mean that everyone can breastfeed. Especially when one is already back at work because there is no paid parental leave.

  5. They didn't. Quite a lot of them didn't. You can't breastfeed with mastitis. You can't breastfeed if the milk doesn't come in. Babies simply starved. Some were fed with goats milk and if you were extremly lucky that worked. Others reacted badly and died.

  7. What did people do without formula? They buried their kids. Not everyone can breastfeed. Not every kid can stomach goatsmilk (don't even try cows milk). People watched their children die.

  12. Your post makes no sense. The shortage is due to a company not maintinaing their production facilities and spoiling their product. Claiming that it is because the US is financing Nazis and Ukraine (are you quite okay?) is simply not true. The US goverment does not produce baby formula.

  14. Some people can't nurse. Nursing is not an option if you have to go back to work almost immediatly.
