  1. "The good he has done"? How does that outweigh trying to kill his wife in public? Even if giving money to the GOP would count as doing good trying to take a life would negate that. Besides: people just don't suddenly kill their partner in public. Men who kill their wives in such a dramatic fashion almost always have a history of domestic violence. He seems to have been a person that craved attention and reveled in his entitlement and privileges. There is no way that man accepted a no and had a working understanding of consent.
