@L.Spencer the Titan having made trips before is part of the problem. It had issues on those trips and the trips themselves raised the probability of material failure. Carbon is not used for very good reasons because of fatigue.

@nessunodorme3888 you mean he understood that just because something working several times does not mean that it will continue to work? Especially as it had a history of not working? That thing had serious issues on previous trips. Oh, and carbon and stress fatigue? You might want to read up on that.

Stockton Rush came from money. He was already rich. He wasn't doing this for money. Whatever his motivation was money most likely was not it.

@Dad_Brad that he did. He looks so defeated in the interviews he has given and mentioned that he was wondering if he should have done more to stop Titan. He is not even remotely in charge of the project and is putting more thought into safety issues than people who were.
