  1.  @sophiawilson8696  that is not correct. They asked their citizens to social distance, work from home etc pp expecting them to heed the request. That's why Shops, restaurants, schools stayed open. Problem in that contrary to what was expected people didn't or only partly did follow said request. Instead of closing down Sweden proceeded with the voluntary approach.

  5. Does Rand Paul wear a searbelt? Does he listen to his doctor when he is going in for his yearly exam? Does he maybe take meds to prevent illness in future? Does he make sure children in his family buckle up in the car? Does he make sure toddlers are not left alone next to an unsecured pool? Oh... wait... it's Rand Paul. So he does what helps them and lets the kids fend for themselves.

  6. @Canis Africanis not really. We could do better. Unfortunatly we have quite a lot of people who wear their masks under their noses, don't wash hands, don't social distance... and simply don't 'believe' in Covid.

  8.  @tinarussell2966  right now he is saying that Covid is killing those who would otherwise have died from the flu... in short: 'They would have popped their clogs anyway'. He is trying to support his argument by pointing at Norway and Finland saying that their death-numbers from seasonal flue prove his point. They don't. Dear Tina, hope you are safe and well.
