  10. Her books are not written for adults. They are for kids and teenagers, not adults. As you seem to be interested in german/Germany... please, brush up on german history and literature. Your insight into what happens when you ban books and pretend that people are out to get your kids when all they want to do is giving them tools to grow is worrying.

Aimlessly wandering through the shelves is not just great fun because you might spot something you like but it means you are learning that there are books outside of your personal interests. And every child needs a library because how else are you going to learn how to look stuff up?

  17.  @danihesslinger7968  Tach auch. Schulen hier in meiner Heimatstadt in Hessen (und in der Umgebung) habe Büchereien. Natürlich sind sie nicht so gross wie die in den USA, aber es gibt sie (auch wenn sie eine andere Funktion erfüllen). In der Regel nehmen sie auch gerne Spenden an. Oft werden die Büchereien von den Kindern mit verwaltet.
