Or the laws and regulations in Germany. We have plenty of weapons and tight regulations (which could be tighter in my opinion). We rarely ever have shootings.

@jlvandat69 one year ago today we had a mass shooting in Hamburg. People tasked with making sure regulations were followed failed us there but in general we are indeed quite safe. Hope you will be able to visit!

They love him? Not enough to care for him and get him into therapy. Instead they bought a gun, taught him to shoot, and didn't secure it properly.

@leaharchambault5796 did the parents have that knowledge when they didn't get their son therapy but instead armed him? No. They were informed that their son was displaying alarming behaviour, might even be a threat to himself. Not acting on this information makes them neglectful parents.

@jimlewis2395 they are comparing policies and regulations, not countries. If you do think Japan is too small: Europe manages this across legal frameworks and cultures.
