@leothenomad5675 the person I answered to made a statement about people who are unfamiliar with checks. I reminded that person that checks are not common outside of the US. Can I read that signature? Yes. Would I know where to look for it and what to look for to determin if that check ticks all the boxes to be considered valid? No. If you do not know what 'pay to the order of' means because you have never seen a check issued in the US you have to resign yourself to guessing or looking it up. Don't assume people are failing at something that is common to you. And now, while we ar at it, explain to me how to fill in a Dauerauftrag. You are not allowed to look up what the word means.
