  3. In Germany you have to display the price of goods like flour, sugar, liquids per ml or gramm along with the price for the whole item. So not only is it easier to do the math but the shop has to do the math for you too. Obe look on the tag on the shelf will tell me that 100gr of flour from Company A is more expensive than from Company B. Very convinient.
