  15. In Hessen (Germany) it's 0€. You pay a an admin fee of roughly 380€ tops per semester (quite often less) which includes: Public transport for free at the point of usage within Hessen. A fee to keep the Sozialwerk running (that provides help for students in need). Part of it pays to provide a Haftpflichtversicherung (liability insurance) for each student... and the fee even doesn't pay for all of the insurance- the rest of the money to pay for it is picked up by the government. And then, finally, Uni-admin. That's it. No fee for the actual tuition.

  18. @Mass Debater I am not going to respect a decision that affects my health and safety if said decision is not backed up by solid arguments. We do have traffic laws because ad a society we have come to the conclusion that traffic needs a framework - or people will get hurt. Same with health and safety in the work place. Your decision to not adhere to traffic rules and to not stop at a red traffic light will have consequences- I in no way have to respect your decision. Of course I am going to droo dead one day- but I rather not do so because you have choosen the moment.
