  6.  @GoodBerriesOfficial  you need to remember that americans do not hold 'regular' IDs - a lot of them are even against them. Voter ID laws require you to show for example a drivers licence... which of course means you need to have one. Which again is not possible or affordable for everyone. The process in made difficult to comply with intentionaly.

  7.  @lianefehrle9921  that is not the point of voter ID laws on the US though. No lne is going to issue you an ID thst allows you to vote. Legislations are put in place to require you to provide a form of ID additional not you having registered to vote. It is an add on to the process of registering to vote - and it's intention is to make it harder of impossible for certain people to vote.

And please, understand that these laws are introduced exactly because it is not easy to obtain IDs. They are the modern equivalent of guessing the number of beans in a jar to be allowed to vote.
