@datsumcrzysht No. Wrong. The well regulated militia refers to the model in place in Britain at the time the text was written. And that does not mean every person in Britain. It doesn't even mean every male, landed person in Britain. You see widening your reading does wonders for your education.

@thomasolson1154 No, active shooters have gone into places where there are plenty of people with guns. One of them went to my place of work and killed although there were police in the building right behind him. The police caught him - whithout firing a single shot by the way. The difference here is that he got the gun illegaly, shot highly trained soldiers not kids, and he was one of the very very very few people to do something like that in a country that is not the US. Meanwhile the US has mass shootings more often than the year has days.
