  3. That is not what he is saying though. Of course telly is not real... but the choices we make in our storytelling are real. These stories are told this way (frequently) why? Besides... I am not so sure that people are able to or are meant to separate reality and fiction in this genre.

  8. And the baddies in Derrick were quite often wealthy people, behaving like pricks... which made a lovely contrast with the solidly middleclass, un-glamourus police-officer.
