  1. If you want your kids to play outside and play outside of organised playdates you have to let them. And you have to allow for boredom, failures, and kids existing outside of your immidiate sphere. This looks a lot like kids growing up in my neck of the woods in Europe. Kids go shopping alone, ride on public transport alone, toodle off to see friends, and play in the woods. The focus is to raise independent kids who know how to handle joy but also frustration. Thank you for the insight.

The amount of people who do not understand what consent is showing up in this comment section... folks, do you understand that having multiple partners is not the same as violating the consent of multiple partners? Him being 'upfront' about having sex with more than one person does not invalidate the account pf someone who says that he violated them - it simply means that he told stories about sleeping around (a ethicaly neutral behaviour) while at the same time ignoring when people told him NO!
