  1. The French & Italian Beaux-Arts styles don't sit easily next to one another. The parts are all beautiful, but somehow, there's a jumble. The rotunda is wonderful, but the sad dead bear rug at the foot of the stairs can go. The gardens were beautiful, the stables, too.
