  4.  @nunyabidness674  Not really the same. Anti tank weapons only need to enter the crew space. Then it kills the crew or sets off ammo. Ships are compartmentalized. They have voids and tank spaces. A hit in one space is not critical snd is contained. Also shape charge does not make a hole to cause flooding.

  5. That doesn't really sound like an upgrade. This constant desire to want to turn them into missile barges is a poor use of the ships.

  6. This obsession of trying to use large caliber guns for AA is a dead end. They are big. they're slow to traverse and load. They don't have the fire control or the high angle to do anything.

  8.  @stevevalley7835  rate of fire is going to drop simply due the physical fatigue. As for adding more barrels? They are not muskets of infantry mowing down other lines of infantry.

  9. If your desire is just to throw missiles at people; there are cheaper platforms to use. Once again all these conversion ideas are bad ones. The battleship is not an AA escort. The subforce can deliver the cruise missiles with much greater stealth for about the same number. You also sacrifice most of it's naval gunfire support ability.
