  2.  @danhaas9730  when you say stray rounds, it's going to take more than just small arms fire. And if they take a high explosive shell to the deck? That Little Flower class is going straight to the bottom. But the risk is small. They rarely got into gun fights. And few attacks by air.

  3.  @jbflotsam8132  helicopters has become the default ASW weapon of choice. And it takes the ship out of the line of fire. There's no need for it to get within the enemy's torpedo range. It has the ability to loiter on a target. Drones expand that ability.
