@josephlinck1892 well the early U-Boat campaign with the happy time? They had no convoys. No blackouts. And very limited ASW air and Sea Patrol. They also had Torpedoes that worked.

 @Jimmythenail that's why they invented the torpedo data computer. Early mechanical computers dedicated to solving fire control problems.

@joeb5316 Huge "What if?" The Allies lose Guadalcanal? The whole war history and strategy is changed. The Campaign for New Guinea gets bumped. You leave them with control of all the waters between Rabul and Guadalcanal. New Caledonia now becomes within attack range. Supply line to Australia is under threat.
