@WarrantOfficerWill22 Canada is mostly more trees and polar bears than people. And most of the significant population is on the Great Lakes. There isn't significant shipbuilding there even in 2025.

@AlmiranteBrown-rf9qv using anything larger than 127 mm as a dual purpose, just is a poor choice. Low loading, slow training, lack of an effective shell or director.
