@brendonbewersdorf986 larger is not necessarily better. You're still talking about a gun system that's largely manually operated. Making ammo bigger or heavier it is not a plus. And without the invention of the proximity fuse, you're not really doing any more damage or increasing hit potential.

@stevevalley7835 part of that is because they're doing filming during a live fire NATO exercise. I don't think you can win here. There's not many films that have real warships, firing real guns. I suppose people will now complain that Top Gun:Maverick has unreal Sukhoi's? 😌

@stevevalley7835 it's probably the best movie of the year. And definitely better than the first. But it's not like there's real su-57s available to do air-to-air combat.

@ach3909 that's a step back. When you have a perfectly working Ship to use. That is why it is better film visually than those using techniques.
