  1.  @Drachinifel  Hate to barge in on this fantasy..... Who is attacking Canada by sea? Meaning, they have never needed protecting except from those Gangsters across the Lakes. So.... the point of a Canada building a battleship is ???

  2.  @Drachinifel  That is lot of spending and ship just to back up the Queen's Navy. But with American streaks of Neutrality, It does justify a small navy. Even in 2018, they barely can afford a navy. So a Battleship in 1918 is a bit hard to buy.

  6. No, just there are few returns in going bigger. The Germans in both wars built huge railway guns as long range artilery. But now the gun is too big move, too big to hide, and too slow to fire.
