  1. As anti shipping weapons, they work. Remember the rules of Commerce warfare were that you ID ships. Search cargoes. Let the crew take to the boats, and use the deck guns. Once you adapt unrestricted sub warfare, they can torpedo ships on sight.

  4.  @bkjeong4302  The 5 inch gun lacks range to hit inland targets beyond the beach. In general, by wars end the entire AA cruiser was obsolete.

  5.  @bkjeong4302  What happens when your Atlanta class faces enemy Cruisers? Too light to hurt a Heavy Cruiser. Too light on Armor to trade shots with most 6" light Crusiers?
