@CharlesStearman exactly. The difference between land aircraft and naval aircraft besides the whole hook thing are things like approach speeds, stall speed, visibility, Etc.

@bryanchong1713 it's more of, it just wasn't a thing. There was no great Groundswell to keep every bit of War memorabilia and trophies. Most folks just wanted to forget War. Demobilization was the goal rather than preservation.

@captainobvious9233 there is no standardization really. They all have same common items. But arrangements are all over the map.

@leogazebo5290 there does not seem to be any validity to that. Even by Asiatic Fleet standards, the Isabel is a pretty minor vessel. There's a report they were asked to do a minor reconnaissance mission. Nothing as exciting as starting or instigating War.

@richardcutts196 the ability to do those things was there. The motivation was not. That was the point of my comment. They were more concerned about the last war. Not really preparing for fighting the next one. This is still the pre Nazi years.
