  6.  @danhaas9730  still, remember that the defense of Hawaii is still a split organization. It wasn't great communication Army and Navy. Not to mention the problems with long-range communications that day. It's a bit like 9/11. Even after we had ideas about the first hijacking, by the time we got planes in the air and on station. It was really too late to do anything.
