Likely, ordered scrapped and crew sent on shore. The cost vs. Benefit of Tirpiz made her not worth keeping in the service in the Baltic. Hitler had lost all faith in the surface Navy.

@murray1453 Tirpitz does more as a threat in place in Norway than playing sub target in the Baltic Sea. Hell, I would be scared they would all just sail to Sweden if I was Hitler. She may not have used those main guns much. But as a decoy, served a worthy purpose.

@murray1453 Well...... All I can say is, Adm. Raeder and Dönitz rolled the dice the other way. And you free up the RAF and RN to do other things without Tirpitz as a distraction.
