  1. 🤯🍹This is a really diverse and wide ranging topic. Covers the World and all types of Spirits. Just the origin of the word is a puzzle. While not a huge drinker, I never have liked beer. And wine occasionally. That makes me a confirm mixed drinker. It takes away the harshness of a straight spirit and makes it more pleasant. The medical origins makes sense too. As a druggist would have access to various herbs and potions. As well as the need for people to be able to have a beverage when water was often polluted. I suppose the name mixologist is a appropriate one? They are a part chemist, part sorcerer, and part apron wearing psychologist.
