  2.  @Struthio_Camelus  well, there is also self-control and use of birth control. I would agree adoption is a far better resolution. Luckily my sister made the right choice 18 years ago and decided to raising child on her own. Skipping the incredibly bad life choices. Today, that young boy is about to graduate high school. And is one of the finest students in the country. It was a rough life, and still is. But tomorrow on Mother's Day, Lisa can glean with pride on what she accomplished. No regrets on not taking Option 1 or option 2. I'm just glad he got the school of his choice and the full scholarships to boot.

  3.  @nicsxnin6786  I pondered your reply.🤔 harm to the health of the mother? In the world of 2024, death by childbirth is not particularly a off the charts thing anymore. A little bit around 1200 a year. That's not quite SharkBite death levels or death by swimming pools. But it's pretty low. I would like people to exercise better judgment and use of contraception. On the part of both male and females. It takes two to make this thing happen. I think people would just prefer they not compound a mistake, by taking the life of another.

  16. To be honest, the Russians have been set back a generation by this war. They've killed off like a half million people. Wiped out planes and tanks. And are going to places like Iran and North Korea just to get ammo. Not to mention a leadership which is non-functional.

  20. First of all this is no longer a jet fighter War. It's a drone War. It's taking time to get f-16s transferred and people trained and support. Your F-18 also has two engines to maintain. And maintainers are more important than Pilots right now. Jets are not the battlefield Game Changer in Ukraine.

  23. Wars are not won by rifles. An individual cost are negligible. Production contracts are based on support and other factors. Not just the price of individual arms.

  29. That's really not how we're fighting Wars anymore. We don't need Mass numbers of rifleman. And the skills of Americans in shooting is suspect at best at any large scale. We need numbers of quality people. rather than mass quantities. And we need to retain trained people. Not recycling people every 2 or 3 years to do basics.

  30. Speaking of the topic of satellites. I saw a report recently that the Russians are having problems replacing their navigation satellite system? I don't have any funds or the high-tech parts.🛰 Eventually these Russian satellites are going to be at the end of their useful lives. And this will kill their navigation Network.

  33. Using the military as some sort of social program is never a good idea. Where does the UK have a real manpower need for a huge Army. And trying to turn a society into Sparta, is not exactly a great goal. The goal should always be quality over quantity. The United Kingdom does need to do better in that regard and in spending.

  35.  @markobucevic8991  Support Ukraine more? We've already in two years spent more money on Ukraine then we did the entire Marshall plan to rebuild Europe. And exhausting many of the Surplus stocks of ammo. The Russians are in the same predicament. Trying to have to go to places like North Korea just to get more artillery. The weapons manufacturing process on both sides is backlogged. That's before you throw any politics into the matter. There is also limitations logistically. You are not able to use the Black Sea to deliver anything.

  36.  @markobucevic8991  they've had two years of Slaughter in Ukraine. And you think they are going to take on NATO? The Russian military has been set back a generation at least. THey do not have the equipment or the personnel. Who knows when they'll be able to rebuild the Black Sea Fleet ? They are pulling armor that is 40 and 50 years old out of storage. They have nothing but undertrained conscripts and the officer and NCO corps is in shambles. And morale is at its lowest levels possible. The Cold War idea of Russia Fanning out across West Germany is a dead one.

  48. As far as drones and shotguns as a counter? There is a wide range of things that get labeled drones or uavs. And they tend to be a little bit tougher than your average duck or goose.🦆
