  4.  @jcyunkrn  having stand-alone VA hospitals no longer makes sense. You should have a system where the access to healthcare should be made available at any location that will accept coverage. Thus giving you more options. So the benefits should not change put the need for so many VA specialized centers is going to decrease. This was a system built to service a World War II generation. They no longer have that volume.
