  1. Unspoken in most of these reviews is that the CAG of Hornet nearly lost the battle. Commander Ring led 1/4 of the Navy's airpower in a flight to no place. A action that takes them largely out of the battle, sans Torpedo 8. Also

  9. Which attack??? There were two. First by sqn. 825 from HMS Victorious. Then a second attack by planes from HMS Ark Royal and Force H.
