Nope. Time to put the nation over himself. If he wanted more money he should have been in on the deal. The cost is also too high. The debt is out of control. His act just adds a delay for delivery of funds.

@notNefon Sorry, but he gets no brownie points. Trump has his moments, but I will not play Idol worshiper. He has failed to participate in any of the work to make these bills. A veto will just delay funds, shut the government and continue the divisions. Nor are his demands fiscally responsible. If he wanted this, where has he been for 6 weeks?

@OutlawSeraphrim He is the leader of the GOP. But is doing nothing for the party but thinkng of his own interest. He has had months to direct the budget and aid bills. This not any great epiphany, just obstruction.

@LLLigon72 Unhappy person? I think I am a lifelong Republican and not a Trumpet. His picking of items of spending excess ignores his lack of any effort to shape the bill. He is not saving any money. Nor is this last minute effort going lead to a lame duck compromise. The Democrats are bad. But Trump is about Trump now.
