Do we really need another superhero show / movie? You would think we've kind of run out of comic book stuff to do? As for the so-called message sending? I think you can make your point without a sledgehammer.

@contumelious-8440 I think the Fad of comic book based films has runs course. And basically we're only adopted because of their easy marketing product tie-ins. They tend to sell a lot more t-shirts, lunch boxes, action figures then your typical romantic comedy.

@rexrocker1268 especially when you start getting into the third tier superheroes. I mean people care about Superman and Batman and Spider-Man. When you start getting into the B and C team? Nobody's paying.
