@blueforest4589 how do you figure they did not have reasonable cause to request her identification? This whole confrontation occurred because she was identified by a Store employee? That does appear to be reason to launch an investigation.

@blueforest4589 I took the time to go to another channel to watch the complete footage. She does make a comment about someone else. Why someone who was supposedly with a group of shoplifters traveling by themselves alone makes no sense. Nor has there been any confirmation of any merchandise recovered. Cross-racial identification is a known problem. Also she appears to be turning the car to the right. Not towards the officer. And his placement in front rather to the side as well as his partners tone may have engaged panic in the young lady. Overall we had a bad situation that escalated very quickly.

@blueforest4589 I believe there is reason to start an investigation based on the report. She was not under arrest yet. I do however puzzling that if this woman was supposedly with a group of shoplifters, why is she alone? And her own words reference someone else. I think it is possible we have a misidentification? Where are these other suspects? And where is the merchandise? I also believe we have a bed Tactical situation. I believe most training has car stops with a secondary officer on a side of a vehicle. Not in front or to the rear.

We haven't even confirm that she was involved with anything yet. The claim was that multiple persons were involved. If true, why is she alone? And where's the merchandise?

@diddlybow3891 I will dispute that. The steering wheel is being turned to the right away from the officer. An officer who should not be in front of the vehicle based on most training. And if there is a group of persons involved? Why is she not with others? There's no one. Has this woman even been correctly identified?

@faervas1234 where is this so-called stolen merchandise? And if there were multiple people engaged in theft, why is she traveling alone? Where are the store security tapes showing her engaged in any activity?

@MrBondSinatra you know their Are plenty of YouTube videos everyday of police stops and people refusing to identify themselves. Most do not result in gunfire.
