  7. First, of all please note that none of those big cruise ships are built in the United States. Second, money to spend on ships has to be allocated by government. You may not have noticed but we haven't had regular budgets in years. Just continuing resolutions. We can barely agree on keeping the government open right now. Third, there's a backlog of ships awaiting repair. That's before you even get to new construction.
