  3.  @65gtotrips  it's it's shorthand for ,"roll-on roll-off" ships. The ships that they use to transport cars. They drive them on and then drive them off.

  4. You can't defeat physics. Force is equal to mass times acceleration. You have a huge force acting on the main structural support. There's not much you can do to stop the bridge falling.

  5. It depends what the cargos are? Wilmington/ Philadelphia are close by. New York and New Jersey ports will probably pick up slack as well.

  8. The Port of Baltimore is a pretty major East Coast port. What are the primary cargoes going in and out of there? What sort of a supply chain issue does this present? Any sort of estimate on how long of a salvage operation to clear the river?
