  11.  @tickticktickBOOOOM  without up-to-date information and an aerial view of what the fire was doing? It would have been a hit-or-miss prospect in any case. Fire took out an entire town. I'm not sure going around a roadblock would have made too much difference? And the tsunami system was designed to get people away from coast and seek Higher Ground. Which would be the last place you'd want to go.
