  17. @NikeHM69  the hand wringing over the ship is ridiculous. There are far more historical notable vessels in need of attention and funding right up the Delaware River. USS Olympia should have at least one tenth of the people crying over this thing. The fact is, the ship got an eviction notice. Nobody wants it, except this county in Florida.

  23. Absolutely, totally, No...... This ship has no useful value. It is stripped to the Bone. The engines are not functional. It's full of lead paint. It's been sitting at a dock for close to 30 years. It doesn't even have a helicopter pad. It's an abandoned building that just happens to float.

  29. we are Way beyond the crying stage. The thing couldn't pay his bills anymore. It has done nothing but rack up dock fees. The pier owner finally went to court and won. Every scheme over the last 30 years to do something with this ship has fallen through. It's simply an abandoned building that just happens to float now.
