  1.  @Liberum  standalone my eye. The bill is over 600 pages and only 10% has anything to do with covid. Most of this is bailouts of States like New York and California and their pension plans. Pay off to the teachers unions. And various pet projects.

  5.  @lili19743  I hate to explain basic economics to you. If you want to get paid more, you do a job Worthy of being paid more. That means having skills. That's why the guy who runs the bulldozer makes more than guys who run a shovel. Raising the cost of Labor on entry level jobs causes them not to make more money. It causes companies to reduce labor cost. Cost that cannot be passed on to customers. Prime example? Toll takers. Have you taken a bridge or the PA turnpike lately? Rather than pay people $20 an hour to give tickets and give change; they have been replaced by E-ZPass. Why do you think whenever you call customer service, everybody sounds like they're in India? Honestly very few companies paid minimum wage. They already have to compete with other firms for employees and therefore naturally have raised their wages.
