Well? I was a member of the GOP long before some near-do-well New York Democrat decided to become one. And I don't want this turning into a party of the ego and personality of Trump over principles and policies. Trump had his moment. And it's time for us to move on.

I hear you. I feel like I don't seem to fit very well in either camp lately. I'm not a Trumpet. But, not a Mitt Romney or Liz Cheney type either.🤷🏽‍♂️

@barrettorth8413 that's kind of debatable. There's a lot of people claiming a lot of things to be conservative values. Writing a blank check to Ukraine and playing games busing migrants all over the place are two examples where we sort of part company. Right now I think Trump is damaged goods. He has tons of political baggage and legal ones. Nor is he getting any younger.

@katherinepll and what happens when he's not on the ballot? That's what we saw in last election. A lack of coattails on the rest of the ballot. Those people who are Trump fans, appear only to want to vote for him. Everyone else down ballot what do they have to run on?

@katherinepll after the treatment of Mike Pence, who is even going to work with him? Stuff like the whole Kanye West dinner and the nft thing make people question his seriousness and his chances. Even his daughter and son-in-law has pulled back from politics. And I'm not really sure deep down Melania even really wants to go back? She seemed like the most unhappy first lady since Jackie Kennedy. All I'm saying is keep an open mind here. While Trump has many Pros. There are some significant Cons... 281 electoral votes is still a high bar. And with changes in States like Pennsylvania and Arizona, that's going to be more difficult to achieve with him as nominee.
