Flag burning is protected First Amendment speech.

They have the right to be there just like you do. And flag burning is considered protected free speech.
5
It is freedom of speech and freedom of public assembly and the right to grievances.
4
@shekarigaming7983 you are wrong in your claims of commentary on the First Amendment. And then went into a rant about Mr Johnson and supposedly the Supreme Court overturning this in the future. then made insinuation that somehow I tied this case to Roe versus Wade. Which also did not occur.
3
They have the right to assemble and protest government action.
2
@JackieChan-rk7mc actually, your wrong Jackie. Too many kicks to the Head.
2
@Sarairose the Supreme Court says they do.
2
@dsquared341 I'm not trolling. JUST not part of the echo chamber.
2
Do you have a First Amendment right to protest.
2
@243wayne1 it's not something I advocate Wayne. But it is designed to be provocative. But so is running into a US Capitol building. The extremes on the right and left need to take a chill pill.💊
2
@MAGATRUMPET Texas v. Johnson...
2
@lynb2039 Texas v. Johnson. 1989.
2
@shekarigaming7983 the Supreme Court ruled this in 1989. You are wrong sir.
2
@paulashackelford5085 please get out of the echo chamber. The Supreme Court ruled on this in 1989 already. Texas V. Johnson.
2
@johnboko7110 it's protected free speech.
2
Because the Supreme Court of the United States says protected free speech.
2
@mikeyh1111 that's not going to happen.
2
You speak of justice, and then you wish to deny people there rights under the First Amendment.
2
Flag burning is legal. Courts ruled on this decades ago.
1
US Supreme Court in Texas versus Johnson ruled it is protected free speech.1989....
1
@personalemail9329 the right to dissent. Is as important as the right to agree.
1
@Rapturetjmoore actually, no...
1
@soulerflare7 I'm not a boy. Do not go around referring to adult males in that fashion.
1
@dsquared341 because far too many here can't see outside the bubble. As much as the far left is a pain. The far right equally as hazardous. Set aside your emotions.
1
It is protected free speech under the First Amendment of the Constitution.
1
Because the Supreme Court ruled it is legal free speech.
1
@DanielCadarette Texas V. Johnson....
1
@DanielCadarette the Constitution that protects the rights of the majority; also protects that the minority. Personally I have a neighbor across the street who likes to fly a Palestinian flag and a "free Palestine" sign in her front yard. Not my cup of tea. But it is her right to do so.
1
Supreme Court ruled on this 1989. Flag burning is protected legal speech .
1
Do protesters have jobs to go to on a Monday?
1
@Wild_Free then your locals will go to jail....
1
@243wayne1 I would suggest that the young man a few weeks ago who decided to burn himself; was a far more extreme thing.
1
@shekarigaming7983 I made no such a claim? I believe you need the response to someone else?
1
You have the right to do so under the law and Constitution of the United States. The Supreme Court has ruled it is protected speech since 1989.
1
You know that pesky old Constitution protects us all.
1
Is protected speech under the First Amendment. It protects the rights of both the minority and the majority.
1
They also paid for you to have the right to assemble and address grievances to your government. They also died to protect Free Speech Which is popular and unpopular.
1
If Martin Luther King was walking over a bridge? how much traffic was getting through?
1
@Irina-iw5ji how much traffic did Martin Luther King stop?
1
@Irina-iw5ji Folks in the District of Columbia probably have it a lot worse. There is someone marching or protesting something left or right all the time.
1
It is politically protected speech.
