  11. @CC-xn5xi  Don't try to be a Comedian. As explained, they were doing yearly certification and night vision goggles training. They are flying a set route for Helicopters down the river to other air space. The area has various no fly zones and restrictions. The bases and Pentagon are not going anywhere.....

  12. @CC-xn5xi  there is nothing wrong with my comment. The Bases have been there for century. The Pentagon over 80. They are flying the route all helicopters are supposed to fly along the river. They support military transportation. San Diego is not much better. That has military bases and airports in close proximity of each. And you just had a crash the other day.

  13. @CC-xn5xi  The operation is not at the airport. They are merely going by. The instructor is talking to ATC. All are trying to see air traffic. If you had to drive using binoculars, your field of view wouldn't be easier. All you needed was plus or minus 15 seconds. There is no crashing....
