  5.  @JoeyBaby47  Seaplanes have been used with subs before. Today, a drone helicopter is already here. A VSTOL drone is doable.

  6.  @JoeyBaby47  A drone today could have dual role. In ASW for example. A drone could have sonar buoys. They can locate a sub for a homing torpedo. They can assist SEAL teams with quick overwatch and cover directly from the mother sub. Issues of engine heat are not a barrier really.
