  2. ​ @AmazinGraceXOXO1 I think there is a middle ground here. No one is saying let criminals go. Engaging in high-speed Pursuits is hazardous however. To not only the suspect, but to the officers and third parties. You can outrun a police car. You can't really outrun a police radio.

  5.  @cvn6555  You just had a similar result a few weeks ago with the state police. Pursuit policies are for a reason. There are other tools in the toolbox besides playing coyote versus Roadrunner. You can outrun a car, but you can't outrun the radio. We have air assets. They have things like stop spikes. You do have on board override systems that can shut down cars now. I think why this is under review, is whether or not they violated Department policy.
