@adisafalomi112 if you have a problem with someone, start with Eddie. It is his life choices that brought us here today. As for former officer Dial? I don't think the shooting was entirely proper. But the District Attorney's charge is wrong. And that is why the case was dismissed.

@B-Will- I'm completely serious. The lawyer in question is not on the case. There's nothing to gain here. And there's nothing that changes the merits of the dismissal of charges. The facts do not support a murder charge. Judge the case on its merits, not trying to dirty to judge. Just how many degrees of Kevin Bacon do you want to play here?

@JohnDoe-rs7gh I'm trying to take the dispassionate View. Keep emotions out of things. I think rightfully officer dial probably engaged in some misconduct here. I think he overreacted to a perceived threat. Used deadly force in a situation that may not require one. Whether or not he cooperated with internal affairs or fudged facts in his police report appears to have led to his firing. Worthy of discipline and perhaps a lesser criminal charge. But not first-degree murder. And I think the Judge review of this decided to look at it in that view. Bring up her divorce is just an attempt at slander. If the lawyer in question was actually on the case? The calls for recusal would actually have Merit.

@JohnDoe-rs7gh while he did not make a statement to internal affairs. He did have to file a report on shooting. And I believe there were discrepancies between that and the body cam footage. And that led to the statements given by the department originally. As for his perception of threat? Inside of a locked car and at that distance? That's where the trouble begins. We've had far too many cases in the past of people seeing wallets and cell phones and making the same call. As for the rest of your reply? We seem to be in the minority on this comment section. By any chance do you know what is the status of the partner? He's not facing any criminal charges here. And apparently has not chosen to follow Officer Dial's non cooperation approach?

@IsraelGirard-xc1fd thank you for your concern about my health. Agree to disagree however. There is no impropriety here. The charges grossly over-the-top for this case. Thus dismissed. That doesn't mean there was nothing done wrong here. And the district attorney will refile charges. The accusations that the judge is showing some sort of favoritism is trying to smear and slander. I don't know what kind of Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon games you're trying to play here?

@JohnDoe-rs7gh I would agree. People are trying to play Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon here. Judge the case on the merits. Do not try and to besmirch the judge's reputation. Being part of the firm and being part of the case are very different things. It would be like saying you should recuse yourself because someone she went to law school with is before the judge.👩‍⚖
