@hummerskickass it may also be argued, in much the same way Obamacare was. Is not a control, but rather a tax. And the Supreme Court already rendered that decision.

@generalripperdidnothingwro9281 the same Constitution gave the power to tax and regulate interstate commerce. The Supreme Court ruling did not repeal any state or Federal tax of Arms or Ammunition as being a infringement as a comparison.

@larsmurdochkalsta8808 There is zero political support or will for either. Suppressors are really a narrow niche group of firearms users. There is no clamoring in Congress or the public in general to change regulation, just because we don't like to wear hearing protection. The votes are not there. No more than they were four years ago.
