@sinisterthoughts2896 Same as people using so called pistol braces today.

Ian come on and give Mr. Saive his due. The credit for this design really belongs to him and not Browning. Browning's prototype at the time he died is nothing like the final production pistol.

@ftdefiance1 Because Most of the World uses 9mm Para. And that is why like the AK, Hi Powers are found Worldwide wide used by Friends and Foes. Commercially it was made in .30 Luger and later .40 S&W.

Dieudonné Saive's pistol....😏

@Gliese380 10 years and a different system makes Fine tune is a stretch. If any Browning should have credit, it is his son Val A. Browning. Val and Saive worked on the gun till production.

Not many designs get 75+ years in production.

His last gift was the Superimposed Shotguns. 🙄

I think your thinking about Artillery Lugers? In either case, not full auto.

@ftdefiance1 Well it never worked out that way. Nobody really sold a auto pistol in .45 ACP in a non 1911 design till the 1970's with S&W's automatics. Beretta, SiG, H&k, Walther,Ruger, etc. Today, is a different story....

@salt_97 At this point it is a Coke vs. PEPSI or Brunettes vs. Blondes thing....... Personally? Hi-Power, Coke & Brunettes.....😎

Dieudonné Saive....😏 John needs to stop getting credit for a gun he did not finish and made a decade later.

Yes, they were forced work for the Nazi's. Saive however got out of the country to the UK.
