There is definitely some dispute going on here. Now was there an error in the report statement? Was there an error in the timeline? Was there any error any actions of the victim? That's what we have a shooting team and Internal Affairs division for.

Speaking English or any other language is not a requirement to drive in the United States. By the same token, I don't know many Americans who have mastered Spanish or French? And yet drive into Mexico or Canada.

I suppose it is reasonable to expect someone to be able to read stop signs and other things written in English? And at the age of 27? Kind of hard to excuse.

Let's wait for the investigation to delve into this. Reaction may have been Justified, But a less than lethal one should also have been on the table. Let's first make sure we've got the facts on where the shooting actually took place first. It is also a known issue that the department has a limited issue of tasers that could have been employed in a situation like this.
