  1. I feel like I've dealt with this type of person and I've BEEN this type of person when I was going through a really tough time in a toxic workplace. There really wasn't much I could do to change my circumstances, and I couldn't afford real counseling, so instead I just complained constantly to anyone who would listen. I knew it wasn't healthy but I really craved that validation and empathy because I could never get it at my job. It took a lot of work but I'm in a much better place now.
