  3. Raimaels Mag So far, Assad and ISIS have benefitted from the bombing. Assad is starved for troops, but ISIS has no problems recruiting. Assad, without sufficient troops to fill in the vacuum left by the FSA and al-Nusra Front, can only stand back while ISIS moves in. If Assad was already losing against a fractious FSA and al-Nusra, imagine how he'll fare against a reinvigorated ISIS -- all alone, too, because the Russia can't keep bombing forever.
