@yokartik Nah, 'coopetition' is the way to go. Russia has been self-sufficient in its arms production and look at where it got them. Jack-in-the-box tanks and missiles that more often than not miss their mark. Good luck following in their footsteps.

It doesn't bode well. Turkey has never produced a modern fighter jet. I'm sure Erdogan, if he manages to stay in power, will sooner or later fall out with Turkey's project partners, sparking more weapons embargoes and causing one delay after another. We've seen it all before with other Turkish weapons programmes. When will Turkey learn that Erdogan is an unacceptable liability?

@electricdonut8592 Right-o, jack-in-the-box tanks and missiles that more often than not miss their mark are "great". Soon it won't matter how "great" Russian weapons are, because they can't be produced any longer. Customers like India are already cancelling orders, because they don't trust Russia's ability to deliver.
