I thought you didn't like autocracy and curtailed freedoms. You learn something new every day.
5
Head-on? Winning? The self-delusion is strong with you.
4
You've got the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance mixed up. Putler's Russia is analogous to the tyrannical Galactic Empire -- the Dark Side -- since he's an autocrat as well.
4
He's stuck "liberating" Ukraine. It appears the Ukrainians are none too keen.
3
Give it time, and Serbia will overtake Russia.
3
I disagree. One is a Chihuahua and the other a Bernedoodle or something.
3
Duh, they're smirking at him. A vassal came to pledge allegiance. And for your info, Putin isn't into LGBT stuff, at least not officially.
2
Glory indeed. Two out of the five BRICS countries have to arrest Putin on arrival and ship him to The Hague to stand trial for war crimes.
2
But with feet of clay. And he's not exactly a giant either, as the idiom insists.
2
Both are crony-capitalists by today's standards.
2
Yeah, Khrushchev and Castro dared.
2
Russia is selling crude oil below cost to China. How is that a win?
2
@mera1379 Yeah, that's what they used to chant before my grandpa put his Maxim to work.
2
@Intel-i7-9700k NATO funds? NATO has a fairly limited budget. Members are chipping in directly, or jointly through the EU. For your info, 'facing head-on' means 'facing directly'. Putler's Orcs have yet to meet their first NATO soldier on the battlefield in Ukraine. Business as usual? Russia is jury-rigging rusty tanks from the 1950s and begging starving North Korea for ammunition. Russia reinventing itself economically? Putin has been promising for decades to diversify the Russian economy, but to little or no effect. Russia remains a gas station masquerading as a country. And the gas station lost its best customers, leaving only a few moochers, who pay 50 cents on the dollar. I am having a laugh, both at your pitiful denial and Russia's misery.
2
Not quite. One is a vassal, the other his lord.
2
I thought India liked democracy.
1
Alas, China isn't among the 124 ICC members. Don't you worry, Putin has carefully memorised all the countries where he's still welcome (there's far less to memorise that way).
1
Is that why Modi wasn't invited? He didn't agree with the Western dress code?
1
@technicalars5378 Math isn't your strong suit.
1
@rakeshkrishna4661 So, you're suggesting that Putin is intimidated by the West. Okay, I'm not surprised, he's fighting a losing battle after all.
1
@rakeshkrishna4661 What are you on about? Putin did not dare to attend G20. No balls, in other words.
1
@rakeshkrishna4661 You're making excuses, and very poor ones at that. Cowardly Putler did send his stooge, Lavrov, a.k.a. Comical Ali 2.0, to G20 to be humiliated in his stead. It's funny how you're still beholden to Russia, as if it still were the Soviet Union. We're witnessing the death throes of the Russian empire, a sinking ship, and you want to cling on to it for dear life.
1
@rakeshkrishna4661 Ooh, do you kiss your mum with that mouth? Your interpretation of loyalty is interesting. You feel that you owe the USSR, and Putin, whose crony-capitalist autocracy is ideologically far removed from the USSR, gets to collect on your debt. I think you just need a master to bow down to. I suppose you're at the right address, because Russia was and remains to this day one of the worst colonisers in human history. But it will all come tumbling down, and you'll need to look for yet another master.
1
So what you're saying is that Russia and China should kowtow to the world. Okay.
1
@mera1379 I paraphrased what the OP wrote. Don't you know English either?
1
US? The US is not a member of the ICC. Putin has an arrest warrant out for him in 124 countries, just not in the US.
1
Ruxia's governor Pu Tin then. Satisfied?
1
Poverty and slavery, more like.
1
What has he won? The governorship of Ruxia, China's northernmost province?
1
The ICC is nearby, in Mongolia, Japan and South Korea. Rest assured, the ICC has made it easy for Putin to turn himself in. 124 countries that he can surrender himself to.
1
You're welcome. A wealth transfer from Russia to India can't be a bad thing.
1
If the Krembots don't post their drivel, they get to try if their sword is mightier than their pen after all, in Ukraine.
1
In neighbouring Mongolia, for instance. Or if Putin doesn't fancy being held in a yurt, there's Japan and South Korea nearby, too. In fact, if Putin wants to turn himself in, he's got 124 countries to choose from. The man is spoilt for choice!
1
The real Hongkies don't like you very much, do they? They fled mainland China, only to have mainland China flee to them.
1
Newsflash. The Anglo Saxons effectively disappeared in the 11th century, after the Norman Conquest. You're a millenium behind.
1
You've got it backwards. Here, Xinnie the Pooh is welcoming regional governer Pu Tin of Ruxia, China's northernmost province. If Mo Di plays his cards right, he can land the governorship of China's future southernmost province, Tianzhu.
1
Not in Russia. Russia is on its knees. Militarily, economically and vis-à-vis China.
1
Minimum Viable Product? Not so sure about his viability.
1
@thewedge8823 Aw, I insulted your hero and now you're mad.
1
@greatman5836 The USA according to alexisfrancis8562 and greatman5836 perhaps. None of my beeswax.
1
@alexisfrancis8562 You don't get around much, do you?
1
@alexisfrancis8562 I have a masters in history. And another in political science. You?
1
@fullcircle4723 Uh-oh, China is suddenly $859.4 billion out of pocket.
1
@fullcircle4723 Duh, US treasury bonds.
1
@Intel-i7-9700k You're making it up as you go along. There are many more donors than NATO countries alone. Finland and Sweden are cases in point -- both donated generously to Ukraine before they applied for NATO membership. Non-members Australia, Azerbaijan, New Zealand, Pakistan and South Korea have proven generous donors, too. So, in February 2022, there was clash between NATO and Russia? Were was this battle fought and what were the casualties like? How many paper cuts on NATO's side? Russia has not been developing nicely. Its oil and gas revenues are seriously down, as per its own admission, by a whopping 47% year-on-year. Cheap copies of Starbucks and McDonalds don't make a diversified economy. It's not a guilty pleasure to laugh at Russia's misery. Schadenfreude is warranted when the misery is self-inflicted.
1
@duinay3 The Russian Federation is the successor to the Soviet Union, which itself succeeded the Russian Empire -- a through-and-through colonial empire that didn't shy away from extreme brutality in order to expand. None of the three ever properly decolonised. In fact, Putin deplores that Lenin and his Bolsheviks didn't fight on in WW1 and in consequence, lost parts of the former Russian Empire. Also, Putin compares himself to Peter the Great and vows to win back former Russian lands. Imperialism? You betcha.
1
@duinay3 Gruesome as it was, the Americans' ill-treatment of native Americans is ancient history. They build no colonial empire in Asia either. Russia, however, is very much at it -- as we speak.
1
Joe doesn't have a warrant for Putin's arrest. 124 countries do, but not the US. You need to up your botting game, or you'll get your call-up papers for Ukraine.
1
He's so powerful he's about to be appointed regional governor of Ruxia, China's northernmost province. He'll go by the name Pu Tin from now on.
1
@Travi_mol I'm sure Putin has a nice dacha prepared somewhere in Inner Mongolia, for when the excrement strikes the ventilation unit. There, he can ride horsey bare-chested to his heart's content.
